I’m Abdelrahman Magdy, a travel and street photographer based in Krakow, Poland. I'm a versatile photographer who enjoys capturing various types of photos, such as action sports, landscapes, weddings, and portraits, but I have a particular passion for street photography, especially at night. I love to travel whenever I have free time; I have visited 16 countries and 63 cities across Europe, Asia, and the Middle East. Since I was young, I’ve been interested in travel magazines, and I was always curious about exploring new countries and taking photos like the ones I saw in magazines. I decided to pursue this dream when I grew up. I started my photography journey in 2012 with an entry-level smartphone, steadily improving my skills over time. I bought my first DSLR in 2015. In 2014, one of my photos was exhibited at the Photopia exhibition in Cairo for a Mobile Photography contest. Later, in 2016, another photo was selected as a finalist in the My Heritage contest in Cairo. In 2019 and 2020, some of my action sports photos were semi-finalists, finalists, and winners in the Red Bull Illume and World Sports Photography Awards contests. What I love most about street and travel photography is that every time I go out to shoot, I always end up capturing different frames, seeing the same locations in new ways, and achieving diverse results. I especially enjoy night photography because it reveals a city’s different personality and adds a cinematic touch to it.
