Living in Tokyo and meeting all kinds of people has been an amazing experience as a person and as a photographer. Everyone has their own aura and energy, which is catching! Based in Tokyo, Japan, Ellie is a Brazilian/Japanese photographer who has been living and exploring Japan for half of her life.
Ellie’s interest in photography started at the young age of 15 after seeing her best friend’s father capturing a family moment with his camera. Since then, capturing the beauty of people has been Ellie’s passion.
After graduating from Nanzan University and working for three years in a travel agency, Ellie decided to give herself a break. She traveled through Europe, and there she found the London Institute of Photography where she ended up graduating from the Professional Photography Course in order to pursue her passion for photography.
Japan is now her home, but she loves traveling and capturing the beauty of the people in each country she visits.
