A word from the Author
For 37 years, I’ve been photographing the world, and for the last 15 years, I’ve taught thousands of photographers. One thing became clear: people don’t struggle because composition is difficult — they struggle because no one gives them a clear system to follow. Instead of connected principles, they’re left with random tips that never become a reliable process.
That’s exactly why I created this course. The four-layer composition system is the result of decades behind the camera and years of teaching photographers exactly where they get stuck — and how to help them move forward. Whether you’re just starting your photography journey or you’ve been shooting for years, this course will give you the confidence, clarity, and structure to compose every image with intention. I can’t wait to show you how it all works.

Landscape Photographer & Educator
I'm Chris Parker, a wildlife and landscape photographer based near Point Pelee National Park in Ontario, Canada. I've been behind the lens for 37 years... though the first chapter of that journey looked very different. I started as a portrait and wedding photographer, and after years of that grind, I burned out. So I walked away and followed the thing that truly lit me up: nature.
That shift changed everything. The stillness of a marsh at dawn. A bird in perfect light for half a second. A landscape that stops you in your tracks. This is what I show up for.
Over three and a half decades, I've developed a style rooted in patience and presence... waiting for the light, reading the moment, and trusting that if you slow down, nature will give you something worth keeping. I've taught over 270,000 students through my courses and community, and the lesson I come back to every time is the same one the field taught me: stop chasing the shot and start seeing it.
What drives me is simple: a love for the natural world and a belief that photography is one of the best reasons to pay attention to it.
