Benjamin Barakat is an award-winning astrophotographer renowned for capturing the awe-inspiring beauty of the night sky. His striking work has graced the pages of Forbes, National Geographic, CNN, and BBC, and for four consecutive years, he has been honored as the Milky Way Photographer of the Year.
By day, Benjamin is a dedicated father to three daughters; by night, he is a passionate explorer of the stars. Through his workshops and guided tours, he invites others to see the world from a fresh perspective, revealing the hidden wonders that have always been waiting in the dark.
Beyond his lens, Benjamin is also a researcher at Switzerland’s Sphinx Observatory (3571m), where he studies the effects of light pollution on our planet and our perception of the universe, deepening our understanding of the skies above.
