My name is Alberto Janev, and I’m a photographer from Germany.

Over the years, I’ve taught myself every type of photography that fascinated me: landscape, astrophotography, portrait, and street photography. I’ve spent countless hours learning, experimenting, and developing my own techniques to turn any photo, no matter which camera it comes from, into something epic and full of life. For me, photography has always been more than just pressing a button. It’s about creating emotion, capturing light, and telling a story in a single frame.

My work has been published several times in Austrian newspapers, and I’ve built creative spaces on Instagram, Facebook, and YouTube, where I share my photography, my editing process, and my way of seeing the world. Beyond photography, I’m deeply committed to protecting our environment — especially our night skies. As a member of “Paten der Nacht” in Austria, I work to raise awareness about light pollution, which increasingly affects our planet and the visibility of the stars. I combine this mission with my passion for astrophotography, using my images to show how artificial light impacts nature and how we can preserve the beauty of the night sky.

I also create video tutorials where I present tools like Luminar Neo and demonstrate different techniques to help photographers at all levels get the most out of their images. In addition, I proudly serve as an ambassador for Noatanga and Paten der Nacht, supporting awareness, creativity, and environmental consciousness.

For me, photography is a journey – one that connects emotion, creativity, and purpose. Through my work, I want to show that anyone can create something extraordinary with just a smartphone and the right mindset.
