This Carbon Collection brings a set of 9 unique Templates inspired by the film era. Taking cues from cross processing, the Carbon Collection slightly adjusts tones, shifts colors, and adds hints of film noise to all your photos. Whether you shoot in RAW or JPEG, you’ll see slight yet uniquely distinguishable changes that will make you yearn for backpack-style travel to exotic locations. Let’s go!

The story
Going through my photo archives, I realized there’s a particular style that attracts me. What started as an experiment in trying to adjust and shift hues later transformed into a full-blown project. The end goal was to create a universal yet unique color-shifting and mood-enhancing collection that would allow anyone to transform any type of image. The Carbon Collection consists of nine handmade templates that you can use "as is", or use as a starting point to experiment further. I suggest tweaking the intensity of the Mood tool and experimenting in Color and Light to make ever-so-slight color shifts. I’ve left the Light tool mostly unadjusted, so if you like to underexpose or overexpose, don’t forget to adjust that after applying a Template.I’ve given the Templates in the Carbon Collection simple names to help you remember the templates you love the most.
