Ken Buslay is an accomplished photographer whose work bridges the worlds of storytelling and fine art. Born in 1987 in western Germany, Ken grew up surrounded by forests, fields, and ancient volcanic landscapes, which inspired his early connection to nature and creativity. His journey into photography began with a mentor who took him across the country, introducing him to diverse professions and environments. In 2012, Ken’s passion for analog photography and darkroom techniques deepened his relationship with the medium. Working with vintage cameras, he developed a reflective approach that allowed him to create images imbued with soul and authenticity. His studies at the prestigious Ostkreuzschule für Fotografie in Berlin further refined his artistic voice, teaching him to uncover the deeper truths in his subjects. Ken’s creative process is fueled by his nomadic spirit. Whether traveling through Europe or venturing into distant cultures, he draws inspiration from the people and places he encounters. Currently based near Berlin, Ken continues to explore the world, capturing images that resonate deeply with audiences. His podcast, A Nomad’s Life, chronicles his adventures and insights from life on the road, offering a glimpse into the experiences that shape his artistry.
